The Art of Felting: The journey begins with some of the world's finest sheep’s wool. Making felted wool is an age-old, time-intensive process that involves bonding fabric with fiber through scrubbing, rubbing, rolling, and rinsing with soapy water. Once the wool is formed into sheets and reaches the perfect thickness, it is cut and shaped into intricate designs by hand. Each ornament may feature layered colors and patterns, showcasing the artisan's skill and creativity. This is a true labor of love resulting in colorful, one-of-a-kind pieces that are as beautiful as they are meaningful. Global Groove proudly supports women artisans through fair wages, sustainable production, and the preservation of traditional handmade techniques. Decorate with purpose. Celebrate the season. Empower women worldwide. Fairly traded. Sustainably made. Handmade with love.
