Instructions for Use Prep: Ensure your hands and nails are clean and completely dry before filing. Debulk & Shape (100 Grit): Use the coarser side (marked 100) to quickly reduce the length of artificial nails, shape thick acrylics, or remove the shiny top coat before soaking off gel polish. Note: Avoid using this side on the surface of thin, natural nails. Refine & Smooth (180 Grit): Flip to the medium side (marked 180) to shape natural nails, smooth the edges of enhancements, or gently buff the natural nail plate to prep for base coat application. Clean: After use, dust off the nail debris with a manicure brush. The file can be sanitized with a professional spray or washed with mild soap and water (allow to air dry completely). DeEnti Pro Tips Always file in one direction: When working on natural nails with the 180-grit side, avoid the “seesaw” back-and-forth motion. Filing in one fluid direction prevents the nail layers from micro-splintering and peeling. “Season” your new file: Fresh out of the package, the edges of a high-quality file can be sharp. Take an older nail file and gently run it along the edges of your new DeEnti buffer to dull the borders. This prevents accidental cuticle cuts! The perfect prep: When using the 180-grit side to prep the natural nail for gel or acrylic, use a very light touch. You only need to remove the surface shine, not layers of the nail plate.
