Pre-Spawn Bassin' Casting Rod Kits

When targeting bass during the pre-spawn and early spring transition, the right rod can make all the difference. Built around the MB812XF rod blank from MHX, this Pre Spawn / Springtime Rod Kit is designed for anglers fishing jerkbaits, cold water reaction baits, and even light topwater presentations as the bite begins to heat up. Its crisp, extra fast action delivers sharp, controlled twitches that bring smaller baits to life, while the lightweight, responsive blank maintains the sensitivity needed to detect subtle strikes that often come on the pause. With the ideal balance of casting distance, precision, and backbone, it provides long, accurate casts and confident hooksets from early spring through the topwater transition. Specifications: 6'9" | 8-15 lb. | 1/8 - 9/16 oz. | Extra-Fast Action | Medium Power Each part of this kits has been designed by our very own Bob McKamey. He takes into consideration the preferences of our top pros coupled with his 50 years of rod building knowledge to develop the most complete and well thought out rod kits anywhere in the industry. From handle length, to reel seat and even down to the guides and suggested spacing, it is all here. Build with the best.
