Pre-Owned IWC Pilot Chronograph

Pre-Owned in good condition. Includes original box and papers dated 12/2007. The IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph (Ref. IWC371701) is a purpose-built aviator's chronograph that channels decades of cockpit-instrument heritage into a clean, endlessly legible package. It features a 42mm stainless steel case with brushed and polished surfaces, built around a soft-iron inner case that shields the movement from magnetic fields—one of the hallmark details that has defined IWC's Pilot's Watches since the 1940s. The matte black dial is pure instrument design: oversized luminous Arabic numerals, a triangular index flanked by two dots at twelve o'clock, and luminescent hands coated in Super-LumiNova for instant readability in any light. A day-and-date display sits at three o'clock, while the tri-compax chronograph layout—30-minute counter at twelve, 12-hour counter at six, and running seconds at nine—keeps the face balanced, symmetrical, and thoroughly utilitarian. Inside, the watch is powered by the automatic IWC-Caliber 79320, a robust workhorse movement offering a 44-hour power reserve and precise chronograph timing. The convex sapphire crystal is antireflective on both sides and secured against displacement by sudden drops in air pressure—a genuine pilot's-watch detail carried straight from the cockpit. Water resistant to 6 bar and finished on a supple black alligator leather strap with a stainless steel pin buckle, the Pilot's Watch Chronograph is a great option for anyone looking for a versatile, heritage-driven daily wear with real aviation credentials.
