[Pre-Order] Rapido 1128002A | Greenbrier Transverse Coil Car - CSX Blue #2 | HO Scale

Greenbrier's transverse coil car is a modern answer to an old problem: steel coils are dense, awkward, and hate moving. The five-trough design carries them crosswise under removable covers, and Rapido has made the first HO model of the type. This one wears CSX blue, the scheme you will see hauling coil steel through the Northeast and the Ohio Valley today. It is the second of two CSX car numbers in this run. Rapido expects this run around 16 Oct 2026. We ship it the day it reaches us. How does the pre-order work? Pick your terms at checkout: pay in full, or pay a 10% deposit with the balance invoiced before it ships. Either way your car is held for you. Why is there more than one car number? Rapido runs each scheme in several road numbers so you can build a realistic string. This listing is car #2; the CSX Blue #1 car carries a different number in the same scheme. Is the picture the finished model? Rapido has released artwork for this scheme and marks it as subject to change before production, so the finished car may differ in detail. Is the run limited? Yes. Rapido builds these in limited quantities and does not usually repeat a scheme, so reserving early is the way to be sure of one.
