Prayers for Peace (2nd Edition) - Digital Version

This book is a rich and timely selection of prayers for, and writings on, peace—from such global spiritual leaders as the Dalai Lama, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Albert Einstein, Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi, and even Dr. Fred Rogers, of televisions Mister Rogers Neighborhood. The prayers, while mostly Christian in origin, also include several from non-Christian and interfaith sources—in an effort to inspire the worlds leaders toward the creation of a more peaceful world. Due to the unprovoked invasion and attacks on Ukraine and its people, we could not have imagined a more timely release for the 2nd edition of Prayers for Peace. B. Martin Pedersen, the CEO and Creative Director of Graphis, Inc., was a child in Norway during its occupation by the Nazis during the Second World War. Living near a German-occupied airport that was frequently targeted by the Allies, he witnessed—and remembers clearly—the wars devastating impact on human life, for those on both sides of the conflict. He is an award-winning graphic designer and publisher, and lives in New York.
