Prada Luna Rossa Carbon EDP

Luna Rossa Carbon Eau de Parfum is Prada's newest release, launched in 2026 and created by Daniela Andrier — a captivating, dark and gourmand fragrance, fusing fresh lavender with warm licorice accord and sophisticated cypress. It's a much more refined and sophisticated revision of the Luna Rossa Sport scent profile, and importantly, this is a completely different composition from the 2017 Carbon EDT that shares its name. The opening is a sweet lavender, a bit aromatic and soft spicy, with powdery lavender sweet scent mixed with licorice and cypress. It quickly becomes dominated by the licorice note — a dark, earthy, sweet, spicy aromatic with a fresh facet present. Community reviews note comparisons to Armani Code, JPG Le Male, and YSL La Nuit de L'Homme Le Parfum in certain moments, though the licorice remains the defining character throughout the wear. The longevity is great, lasting approximately 10+ hours on skin, with performance, wearability, and longevity all rating as exceptional. Projection is strong throughout the fragrance journey, making this one of the best-performing releases in the Luna Rossa lineup for those who want all-day presence. This is essentially a re-issue of Luna Rossa Sport in a new bottle with some tweaks, which explains why it bears almost no resemblance to the metallic, mineral Carbon EDT from 2017. If you're drawn to aromatic gourmands with distinctive licorice and want beast-mode longevity in a polished designer package, a decant is the perfect way to experience what makes this one of 2026's most talked-about releases.
