PQQ Lozenges

Seeking Health PQQ Lozenges Supports healthy post-workout recovery  PQQ Lozenge by Seeking Health provides 20 mg of BioPQQ® in each easy-to-deliver lozenge. PQQ is a small quinone molecule that may help support cellular energy production as well as the body’s defenses against oxidative damage. Sometimes called “the other CoQ10,” PQQ can be used over and over again in redox reactions by conversion back into its active form. Because of its impressive potential for recycling, it is considered quite stable in comparison to CoQ10 and other antioxidants. PQQ is present in many forms around us. It is thought to be a component in interstellar dust. It has also been identified as an enzyme cofactor in certain bacteria and as an important constituent in most plants. Recently, the potential roles of PQQ in humans have been subjects of keen scientific interest. Ongoing research is being conducted to explore the potential roles and benefits of PQQ in human health and wellness, including its potential importance in metabolism, mitochondrial function, and cognitive health. While PQQ is naturally found in plants and breastmilk, the amount is very low. The European Food Safety Authority states a safe dosage amount of 20 mg, which is around 250 times more potent than what’s in a day’s worth of eating. There are times when we need safe, supraphysiological amounts to experience healthy benefits. Foods highest in naturally occurring PQQ are: Natto Green tea Parsley Kiwi Spinach Miso PQQ Lozenge contains 20 mg of Pyrroloquinoline Quinone Disodium Salt (PQQ), which has effective and stable antioxidant properties. What makes an antioxidant long-acting and stable is rated by how many harmful free radicals or prooxidants it can neutralize before it’s either damaged or used up. In scientific terms, this is called ‘catalytic cycles’. Essentially, how many rescue missions can be done by a helicopter pilot before they retire? When comparing PQQ to famous antioxidants, there’s no question that PQQ is by far the leader by upwards of 1000’s of times better.
