PPE Transmission Cooler | 2013-2014 6.7 Cummins

Excessive heat is the number one contributor to transmission failures and can cause clutch pack slipping, clunky shifting, fluid breakdown, etc. Constant overheating can reduce the transmission service life by 50% or more. The PPE bar and plate transmission cooler provides the proper cooling that your transmission needs to stay healthier and longer. The PPE all-aluminum transmission cooler features a massive 332 cubic-inch core – that’s 100% larger than the stock cooler. The 18% larger frontal area increases its airflow exposure, enhancing heat dissipation. Its dense, louvered external fins maximize heat transfer to ambient air, helping achieve a temperature drop of up to 30°F to keep your transmission within the optimal temperature range – even under demanding conditions. The PPE cooler’s bar and plate construction is a heavy-duty upgrade over the factory tube and fin design, delivering significantly greater cooling mass and flow capacity for true performance gains. Its all-aluminum build also offers superior pressure resistance and durability, making it ideal for performance applications. Note: add the PPE Thermal Bypass Valve for optimal cooling performance. Features & Benefits: Massive 332 cubic-inch core volume, a 100% increase over the stock cooler for better heat dissipation 18% larger frontal area for increased airflow exposure and maximized heat transfer All-aluminum bar and plate construction for improved cooling capacity and pressure resistance Fully TIG-welded end tanks enhance strength and durability Delivers up to 30°F temperature drop, protecting against overheating and burnt clutches Includes new quick-connect fittings that work with stock cooler lines Retains all factory mounting points for a bolt-on installation
