Powr-Flite PFX3S-KNS Upholstery Kit with Hose and Hand Tool

Everybody who buys a PFX3S runs into the same wall about a week later. The machine cleans open carpet beautifully, and then somebody asks about the stairs. A walk-behind cannot do stairs, and it cannot do a sofa, and it cannot get into the six inches along a baseboard. This is the part that fixes that, and it is Powr-Flite’s own. This kit is for the PFX3S, and only the PFX3S Powr-Flite make a separate kit for the Prowler PFX900S and the other 100 PSI machines, because those run at a higher pressure. Ordering the wrong one is the usual mistake here. What is in the box Flexible vacuum hose The black corrugated hose that carries the dirty water back to the machine. It coils and stores rather than kinking. Solution line The clear braided line that runs alongside it and feeds clean solution out to the tool, so both jobs happen in one hand. Upholstery hand tool The clear-headed tool at the end. Clear on purpose — you watch the water coming out and you can see when a cushion has stopped giving up dirt. A carry bag comes with it, which sounds like a small thing until you have hunted for a hand tool in the back of a van. Everything stows together with the machine. How it goes on There is nothing to fit and nothing to modify. The PFX3S is already built to take it: Pull the white cuff off the clear cover and push the accessory vacuum hose in where it was. Push the solution line onto the quick-connect at the back of the machine — the locking ring slides back to seat it and forward to release. Flip the accessory switch, which sends the power to the tool instead of the brush. Two minutes, and it goes back to a floor machine just as quickly. Why it matters A commercial extractor that cannot do stairs is half a machine in most buildings. Offices have them, rental units have them, and the customer who is paying you notices the ones you skipped.
