Powerless by Lauren Roberts

Powerless by Lauren Roberts is a captivating dystopian fantasy romance about a girl without powers in a world where everyone else has them. In the kingdom of Ilya, everyone is born with a power—everyone except Paedyn Gray. In a society where the Elites rule and the powerless are disposable, Paedyn has learned to survive by her wits alone, pretending to have a power she doesn't possess. When she saves a member of the royal family, Paedyn is thrust into the deadly Purging Trials, a brutal competition where Elites fight to the death. Now she must face off against the kingdom's most powerful, including Kai, the prince who suspects her secret and whose attention could be her salvation—or her downfall. With high stakes, forbidden romance, and a fierce heroine fighting against impossible odds, Powerless is the first book in an addictive series that will leave you breathless.
