Increases Surface Friction Coefficient – Etching smooth concrete increases its friction coefficient, helping reduce slips and falls, ideal for pool decks, patios, and walkways. Restore & Prep Surfaces with PowerEtch Prepping surfaces with PowerEtch Concrete Etcher & Cleaner enhances the bond strength of coatings and paints, leading to improved performance and extended durability. It opens the pores of smooth-troweled concrete to ensure deeper penetration of penetrating sealers. PowerEtch also removes rust stains, efflorescence, and the common hazing or fogging that can dull the appearance of pavers and bricks—restoring their original, like-new look. Pro Tip: After etching with PowerEtch, apply a high-quality penetrating sealer to protect the surface from water, stains, and deterioration. This final step helps preserve the appearance and integrity of the surface, keeping it in like-new condition for years to come.
