PowerBlock Pro 100 EXP Expandable Selectorized Dumbbells

PowerBlock Pro 100 EXP Expandable Selectorized Dumbbells Expandable Design. The Pro 100 EXP, is the last dumbbell you’ll ever need. Designed for advanced weight lifters, the Pro 100 EXP adjustable dumbbell is expandable up to 100 lbs. After the base dumbbells, 20 lb expansions are available for added weight (Stages 2-4). Stage 2 (60 lbs), Stage 3 (80 lbs), and Stage 4 (100 lbs). All dumbbells are adjustable in 2.5 lb to 5 lb weight increments with a pair of included adder weights, perfect for building strength while maintaining good form or micro loading. The Pro 100 EXP adjustable dumbbell has a compact design to optimize your home gym’s space. PowerBlock’s goal has always been to create a dumbbell that reduces the space needed for a home gym. The patented design uses a nested weight stack to save space and a magnetic selector pin for changing weight quickly. The straightforward magnetic pin means fewer moving parts and less risk of an internal piece breaking. The Pro 100 EXP, with all of the expansion stages, eliminates 30 traditional dumbbell pairs. Unlike the Elite USA 90 which uses welded steel weight plates, the Pro 100 EXP uses black urethane plates. There are a few key differences between the two. The black urethane is slightly quieter and is less exposed to the elements. They are marginally larger than the steel because of the extra padding. For a seamless experience, the U-shaped pin allows for easy weight changes. Instead of loading more plates and screwing pins, simply slide the pin into the desired weight and go. The handle itself weighs 5 lbs, add more with included chrome adder weights. The chrome adder weights slide into the handle, adding 2.5 lbs each.  Durable Build. These premium dumbbells are part of the larger PowerBlock ecosystem. Our dumbbells are one of a few on the market with compatible accessories. Pair your weight stack with compatible accessories to create adjustable barbells and adjustable kettlebells to create more versatility in your workout options. With just one pair of dumbbells, you’ll eliminate the need for a large collection of free weights. There are two grip options, the Knurled or TPR grips. The knurled grip is made of hard steel with a diamond pattern for improved grip. The rubber TPR grip provides more cushioning and less abrasion. Besides feeling professional, they look great and are built to be durable. Trusting the durability of your equipment is very important. Our dumbbells are the only adjustable dumbbells used and trusted in Pro training facilities. Since our start in 1993, PowerBlock has been striving to declutter gyms with high-quality products. From humble beginnings, the Pro 100 EXP is one of the premier adjustable dumbbells on the market. Trusted by professionals worldwide, our adjustable-weight dumbbells have been put to the test time and time again. About PowerBlock. The original PowerBlock concept came from traditional dumbbells creating clutter in gyms. After the initial project failed, the final design of a nested weight stack with a U-shaped pin came some years later. In 1993, the first PowerBlock shop was opened in Owatonna, Minnesota. Our team’s passion for fitness and improving our product has never changed. We still draw inspiration from professionals, athletes, engineers, and the people who use our adjustable dumbbells daily.  Save Space Adjustable dumbbells use significantly less space in a home gym than traditional dumbbell sets. This adjustable dumbbell set replaces a 7-foot rack of traditional dumbbells, taking up just 1.75 feet of space while also replacing 30 sets of traditional dumbbell pairs. Trusted by pros, made for you This pair of 100 lb adjustable dumbbells utilizes the same design trusted by professional and collegiate leagues, armed forces, elite training facilities, and premier gyms worldwide.
