Framing Features Premium Museum Quality Mouldings Engraved Brass Nameplate Secure, Removable Canvas Clips High Strength Coated Wire Hanger Image Notes With knowing Hogwarts does not have electricity, it can be challenge how an interior classroom scene such as this, is lit. Large gothic style window frames and the open passages of Hogwarts architecture to the rescue! With cool toned temperature daylight streaming in, as seen in the Harry Potter movie “Half Blood Price”, plus the blue colored flames of Bunsen burners, I made the conscious choice for Harry’s potion to be a violet. The vapor's hue adds a little warmth to the overall color scheme, while “popping out” visually as well. Besides Hermione's grateful smile for Harry’s help, one might notice a few glowing potion “giblets” have escaped onto the lab table. I wonder if that will cause any problems later on?
