Pots of Flowers Quilt

Exquisitely stitched four block quilt with Pots of Flowers. Tiny baskets contain  groups of three large flowers in each. Oversize flowers   throughout the border and in the pots are a playful contrast to the delicacy of the quilting.  The center motif expands upon the flowers used throughout by adding leaves. Condition is excellent. York County, Pennsylvania origin. Made 1870’s. Measurements are 78 inches square.
