Body Solutions through PrimeKinetix Posture Medic can be used for general posture health and body alignment but it can also be used to address the problems caused by a host of physical conditions. Using Posture Medic can help to stretch the affected back muscles and greatly assist in reversing some of the damage done by the following body alignment issues: Kyphosis Also referred to as hunchback, this condition is characterized by an exaggerated curvature of the bones and joints in the upper back. Scoliosis Treatment Scoliosis can cause the spine to curve from side to side. This curvature can cause pain and create problems with the respiratory system. Poor Posture & Slouching Conditions like the ones listed above can cause weakness in the back and neck muscles that lead to chronic slouching and poor posture. Pain in Upper Back/Neck/Shoulder Over time, poor posture and repeated slouching can put extra weight on the muscles of the upper body, including the muscles in the back, neck and shoulder. This constant extra weight may cause a pinching of the muscles that creates strain, discomfort or other damage to the surrounding tendons. Rotator Cuff Tears These happen when the tendons connecting the shoulder muscles get torn or damaged. This can be a painful condition that weakens the shoulder and limits range of motion of the arm. Shoulder Impingement Syndrome Similar to a Rotator Cuff Injury, Shoulder Impingement Syndrome is also sometimes referred to as Swimmer’s or Thrower’s Shoulder. This condition happens when the tendons in the rotator cuff become affected, or impinged, as they pass through the shoulder joint.
