Post-Traumatic Growth Worksheet

Post-traumatic growth refers to the positive changes that can happen after someone goes through trauma, like becoming stronger or finding a clearer purpose in life. It shows that healing and personal growth are possible despite difficulties. Young clients often require tools and strategies to help them achieve this kind of growth. The Post-Traumatic Growth Worksheet lets clients reflect on their experiences and turn challenges into opportunities for growth. It asks questions about their personal strengths, what they’ve learned, the people who’ve supported them, and things they are hopeful for. The worksheet includes a quote at the bottom to inspire them to see their struggles as opportunities to learn and grow. With this worksheet, kids and teens can build confidence over time. For instance, they might recognize they've become more patient, improved their stress management skills, or uncovered new strengths they didn’t realize they had. Adults can use this worksheet with kids and teens during therapy or daily routines to help them reflect on their experiences. They can also encourage them to share their growth stories with others to see how far they’ve come and stay motivated to continue growing. *This item is an instant digital download.
