With a two-person auger, the operators have to fight the bit when it catches or meets harder ground. The Easy Auger uses a counterbalanced frame so the wheels help anchor the machine to the ground and counteract bit torque. Instead of absorbing that force by hand, one operator controls the auger from the handle. A Honda GX270 engine powers the hydraulic forward/reverse auger drive. The two-stage hydraulic system provides steady drilling power in normal soil and increases torque up to 350 ft-lb when ground resistance increases.
