Organic Cleavers - Loose Leaf Botanical

Cleavers - Loose Leaf Botanical Our loose leaf cleavers herb (Galium aparine) is carefully harvested and gently dried to preserve its vibrant green character and fresh, grassy aroma. Traditionally enjoyed as an herbal infusion, cleavers has long been used in Western herbalism as a seasonal, cooling plant and is commonly included in springtime tea blends. Cleavers deliver a clean, crisp, and cucumber-like taste. Cleavers is also known as goose grass, or catchweed, due to its fruits (burrs), which often cling to animal fur. Cleavers can be brewed as a simple tea or combined with other herbs in custom blends. Herbalists traditionally work with it as a gentle, everyday herb and appreciate its light, refreshing taste and smooth finish. Its mild nature makes it well-suited for regular use and for those new to herbal teas. The herb may help to support the lymphatic system and assist with clearing congestion and stagnation within the body. This cut-and-sifted herb is easy to brew and blends beautifully with other botanicals or shines on its own as a simple infusion.
