Porsche Bosch ME7.8.2 DME ECU Clone Programming Service | 997 987

Porsche Bosch ME7.8.2 DME ECU Clone Programming Service | 997 987 This is a mail-in DME / ECU cloning service for select Porsche vehicles equipped with the Bosch ME7.8.2 engine control module. Common applications include select Porsche 911 (997), Boxster (987), and Cayman (987) models. We transfer the necessary vehicle-specific and immobilizer data from your original DME into a compatible replacement DME that you provide. Once successfully cloned, the replacement is prepared to operate with the vehicle using the information recovered from your original module. This service is commonly used when replacing a failed or damaged Porsche DME with a compatible used replacement. YOU MUST SEND BOTH MODULES — ORIGINAL AND REPLACEMENT. SUPPORTED BOSCH ME7.8.2 APPLICATIONS Common applications include select: Porsche 911 Turbo / Turbo S (997) Porsche 911 GT2 / GT2 RS (997) Porsche 911 GT3 / GT3 RS (997) Porsche Boxster 2.9L (987) Porsche Cayman 2.9L (987) Additional Porsche applications equipped with Bosch ME7.8.2 may also be supported. Not every Porsche 997 or 987 uses the Bosch ME7.8.2 DME. Porsche used several different engine management systems during these model years, including non-Bosch systems on certain applications. Please verify the DME family and part number on your original module before ordering. COMMON PART NUMBERS Common Porsche and Bosch ME7.8.2 part numbers include: Porsche: 99761860800 99761860801 99761865005 99761865103 99761865304 99761865305 99761865408 Bosch: 0261201349 0261208867 Additional Porsche part numbers, software versions and supersessions may exist. IMPORTANT — REPLACEMENT DME COMPATIBILITY Your replacement DME must be compatible with your original module. We strongly recommend matching the Porsche and Bosch part numbers whenever possible. Do not assume a DME is compatible simply because it came from the same Porsche model, engine or model year. If your part number is not listed or you are unsure whether your replacement is compatible, contact us with clear photos of both DME labels before purchasing. ORIGINAL DME REQUIREMENTS The original DME must contain enough readable/recoverable data to perform the cloning process. An original module that has vehicle communication or operational problems may still contain recoverable data. However, severe internal damage or corrupted/missing memory may prevent successful cloning. WHAT TO SEND Please send: Your original Porsche DME Your compatible replacement DME Do not send the immobilizer module or keys unless specifically requested.
