Pork Shoulder Roast (Butt Roast)

Cooked low and slow, the Boneless Pork Shoulder Roast transforms into a tender and juicy cut of meat that falls apart with the touch of a fork.  Perfect for unforgettable pulled pork, pork carnitas tacos, sandwiches or pork stews. Well marbled, dark and flavorful, the shoulder roast is also commonly known as the Pork Butt, or Boston Butt. This cut comes from the upper part of the pig’s shoulder. Because the shoulder gets a lot of exercise when the pigs are grazing and living in the pasture, the shoulder has a lot of connective tissue and requires long, slow cooking methods to tenderize the meat. We have the cut prepared boneless so it’s easier to cook whole, sliced or in pieces (plus, it’s beautifully packaged). No matter how you decide to prepare this shoulder roast, you’ll be serving your family pork that was humanely processed and ethically raised on the pasture without any chemicals or by-products.
