Porch Session Blend

Topeca Coffee Roasters built Porch Session Blend for those long, slow mornings and hazy afternoons when cold brew is the only answer. This Tulsa-based roaster engineered the blend and roast profile specifically to maximize extraction in cool water—a technical challenge that most coffees fail. The result is a medium roast that delivers sweetness, balance, and depth whether you're steeping it overnight or brewing it hot in a pinch. Tasting NotesPorch Session opens with milk chocolate richness, transitions through caramel sweetness, and finishes with bright coffee cherry notes. The body is smooth and full without heaviness, the acidity is gentle and rounded, and the finish lingers just long enough to make you reach for another sip. As a cold brew concentrate, those chocolate and caramel notes deepen into something almost dessert-like—perfect over ice or mixed into a creative cocktail. Brew MethodsThis blend was designed for cold brew, and that's where it truly shines. Use a medium-coarse grind (think French press consistency), a 12:1 water-to-coffee ratio, and steep for 24-32 hours for optimal extraction. The result is a concentrate you can pour over ice, cut with milk, or build into a Cold Fashioned with bitters and syrup. But Porch Session is versatile—it also brews clean and sweet in a drip machine, French press, or pour over when you want something hot.
