Poppy Red Embroidery Scissors

Every stitcher needs a pair of scissors they actually trust. Sharp enough to snip thread cleanly, small enough to tuck into any project bag, and honestly pretty enough to leave out on your desk. These stainless steel embroidery scissors from Cotton Clara are a staple for cross stitch, needlepoint, embroidery, and kumihimo - any craft where precise, clean cuts matter. At 10.6 x 4.5cm they're the ideal size: compact and lightweight without feeling flimsy, with blades that stay sharp and make cutting thread, floss, and fine fabric a pleasure rather than a faff.  Choose from six colours - Chartreuse, Mint, Lavender, Mauve, Neon Pink, and Poppy Red - so you can colour-code by project, match your kit, or just pick your favourite. And because we think packaging should be as considered as the product, these come on a reusable cardboard bobbin. Once your scissors are off, the bobbin becomes a thread card. No plastic, no waste. They measure 10.6 x 4.5cm - a classic small embroidery scissor size that's easy to maneuver around a hoop without catching the fabric.  What are the best scissors for embroidery and cross stitch? Small, sharp stainless steel scissors with pointed tips are considered the standard for embroidery and cross stitch. They allow precise thread cutting close to the fabric without disturbing neighbouring stitches.  Are these scissors suitable for beginners? Absolutely. They're one of the first tools we'd recommend to anyone starting out with embroidery or cross stitch — sharp, easy to handle, and a genuine upgrade from general-purpose scissors.  How is the packaging sustainable? There's no plastic in sight. The scissors arrive on a cardboard bobbin that you can repurpose as a thread card once you've removed the scissors.
