Popeye Cast Iron Bank

The feisty, well-loved sailor man in his original guise! First appearing in a January 17, 1929 comic strip, Popeye and his adventures still delight today. This throwback bank is made the old way, with thick cast iron. It’s given an antiqued finish, so it looks like it was just dug up from under an old front porch. Note: this bank replica will only accept pennies and dimes, which was meaningful money when Popeye was first introduced. Overall: 5-1/8” tall
