An authentic bronze prutah struck in Jerusalem by the Roman prefect Pontius Pilate (29-32 CE), the everyday currency of Judea in the time of Jesus. Its obverse bears a Roman lituus (augur's wand), its reverse a date within a laurel wreath, each hand-struck and unique. A genuine piece of first-century Jerusalem to collect or gift.
