L.T. Piver - Pompeïa, Eau de Parfum - 100ml

A Juicy Floral and Fruity Bouquet With Enchanting Complexity Of an Ancient Goddess - Introduced in 1907   Pompeii, once a city buried beneath the ashes of fate, evokes the radiant splendor of Rome at the height of its magnificence. Pompeïa, a fragrance composed in exquisite tribute to this vanished city, unites flowers and fruits in a secret dance, in the shadow of ancient deities.   This olfactory dream was born from the meeting of two enlightened minds: Jacques Rouché, esteemed director of the House of L.T. PIVER and the Paris Opera—recognized as the savior of the Paris Opera and awarded the Legion of Honor for his artistic and industrial talents— and George Darzens, a genius perfumer.   Both, inspired by discoveries unearthed from the ashes of Pompeii, crafted a fragrance reflecting the opulence of antiquity: rich, refined, and of enchanting complexity. The perfume opens with the sunlit radiance of orange, lifted by a spicy breath of pink pepper. Then, the scent nestles into a voluptuous heart, dominated by juicy, velvety peach, intertwined with sun-kissed ylang-ylang—like ripe fruit plucked at the golden hour.   A subtle thread of saffron recalls the precious ointments of Antiquity. Finally, the base takes root as oakmoss embraces a subtle suede, softened with patchouli, giving the composition a noble and lasting chypre foundation.   There is in Pompeïa a discreet sensuality, a tamed richness, an ancient femininity reinterpreted by French elegance. This perfume exhales the grace of a  rediscovered past and the promise of a present unafraid to embrace mystery.   OLFACTORY FAMILY: Chypre Floral Fruity TOP: Orange, Pink Pepper, Peach HEART: Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang, Iris, Saffron BASE: Suede, Patchouli, Oakmoss VOLUME: 100ML ORIGIN: France
