Pomegranate Cherry Syrup

This is grenadine, with a Pacific Northwest twist. Real pomegranate puree forms the backbone (the foundation of any honest grenadine), and we layer in sweet cherry puree for extra depth — so what you get is the deep, jammy red-fruit profile classic cocktails are built around, plus a cherry character that makes everything taste a little more interesting. Splash half an ounce into a Tequila Sunrise and you'll remember why people loved that drink in the first place. Stir it into bourbon and bitters for an instant Manhattan-with-a-twist. Mix it into cola for a cherry cola that beats anything in a 12-pack at the gas station. Pour it over Sprite for a homemade Shirley Temple kids will actually finish. Tasting Notes: deep pomegranate tartness, ripe cherry sweetness, jammy red-fruit depth, clean tart finish The Short Version: A pomegranate grenadine with a Pacific Northwest twist — real cherry puree layered in for extra depth, perfect for classic cocktails that benefit from real fruit instead of artificial red dye. A: Our syrups are shelf-stable for 24 months unopened. Once opened, refrigerate and enjoy within 6 months. Q: What's the difference between Pomegranate Cherry Syrup and your Grenadine Syrup? A: Both start from real pomegranate, so both work as proper grenadine in cocktails. The difference: Pomegranate Cherry adds sweet cherry puree for a deeper, jammier red-fruit profile — it's grenadine with Pacific Northwest character. Our Grenadine Syrup is the more traditional version, made with pomegranate and rose petals (the classic 1800s grenadine recipe). If you want a true historical grenadine, choose Grenadine. If you want more cherry richness and depth, choose Pomegranate Cherry. Q: Is Pomegranate Cherry syrup kid-friendly? A: Yes — it's a great mocktail base for kids. Mixed 1:6 with sparkling water or lemon-lime soda, it makes a deep-red drink that looks special and tastes more grown-up than juice. Classic Shirley Temple application: a half-ounce of syrup over ice, top with Sprite, finish with a maraschino cherry. Kids tend to love that the color looks intense and the taste isn't artificial-cherry candy.
