Pom Buti Patchwork Blue Placemat | Set of 4

This print has that wonderfully familiar feeling of something pulled from the good cupboard; cheerful, graphic, and ready for a table full of people. Inspired by the charm of American patchwork quilts and the rhythm of hand-block printed folk motifs, the design layers little butis, leafy borders, dots, diamonds, and tidy red-and-white squares into one lively, collected pattern. There is a nod to Americana here, but not the overly obvious kind. It feels more like summer suppers, porch tables, sparklers after dinner, and a stack of old quilts folded at the end of a bed. The crisp blue and white palette keeps it fresh and timeless, while the hand-printed details give each piece that imperfect, made-by-hand character we love. Use it for July Fourth, yes, but don’t save it just for that. This print is just as good for beach dinners, holiday breakfasts, weeknight pasta, or a casual table that needs a little more charm. Add white dishes, woven chargers, blue glass, candlelight, or a bowl of lemons, and suddenly the whole thing feels done. Pair the placemats with matching napkins to complete the table.
