Polyurethane Axle Bump Stop 79-04

Polyurethane Axle Bump Stop 79-04 PART #2531 FEATURES: Highly Recommended for Lowered Cars Durable Polyurethane Construction Direct Bolt-on for Easy Installation VEHICLE FITMENT: 1979-2004 Ford Mustang Does NOT fit 1999-04 Cobra Recommended for Your Lowered Mustang Right above the rear axle housing is a long rubber bushing called the axle bump stop, or pinion snubber. This prevents the axle housing hitting the floor pan under extreme compression of the suspension. If you lower your 1979-2004 Ford Mustang the stock axle bump stop is too long and it can hit the rear axle housing when you go over even the smallest bumps. Installation This BBK polyurethane axle bump stop bushing is much shorter and must be used when installing a lowering spring kit on your car. This is a simple direct bolt on to replace your factory axle bump stop.
