Flask, Erlenmeyer, Polypropylene, 500ml

GSC International EFPP500 Erlenmeyer PP 500ml with screw cap and graduations up to 500ml x 50ml.  Polypropylene flasks are highly durable and resistant to breakage, making them safer for students. If dropped, they won’t shatter like glass, reducing the risk of injuries and cleanup hazards. Polypropylene flasks exhibit excellent resistance to many acids, bases, and organic solvents. This makes them suitable for a wide range of experiments without concerns about corrosion or chemical degradation. Polypropylene flasks are an economical choice for classrooms with limited budgets or for experiments where loss or damage is a concern. Polypropylene flasks are autoclavable, meaning they can be sterilized at high temperatures for reuse. While they cannot withstand the same extreme temperatures as borosilicate glass, they are suitable for many common sterilization and lab applications. Overall, polypropylene Erlenmeyer flasks are ideal for low-risk, non-heating experiments and situations requiring enhanced durability and safety, making them a practical choice for science classrooms.
