Poly Performance Upper Control Arms for Toyota

It is well known that a suspension lift can alter the factory IFS geometry. It does not take much before Toyota’s OEM Upper Control Arms (UCAs) end up hitting the coilover springs on full droop and maxing out the stock ball joints. This can lead to uneven tire wear, poor handling characteristics, and even premature failure of critical suspension components. However, Poly Performance is now offering a high-quality solution to help you get the most out of your vehicle without breaking the bank. The Poly Performance Upper Control Arms (PPUCAs) are designed to accommodate the increased travel that comes with aftermarket shocks, plus they add additional caster and camber to help bring the alignment cams back into an acceptable range on lifted trucks. On the spindle side of the arms, PPUCAs feature a heavy duty greasable ball joint. These come pre-installed into the forged housings and allow for increased articulation while still keeping a smooth and quiet ride. The frame side of the PPUCAs are equipped with Synergy MFG Dual Durometer Bushings (DDBs) which are long lasting, maintenance free, and resistant to binding. The DDBs also come pre-installed in the forged housings, which helps make installation as painless as possible. The thick wall seamless DOM tubular control arms are finished with a glossy black powder coat and come with weather resistant Poly Performance Toyota heritage decals. Poly Performance Upper Control Arms will accommodate up to 3” of lift and are a fantastic option for people who are looking for a high quality fixed UCA at a budget price point. Features: Increases caster between 2.5 and 3.5 degrees over stock Negative camber increased 1.5 degrees Increased clearance for both larger than stock shocks and tires Allows for the use of extended travel shocks which can gain up to 2” of droop at the wheel Ball joint angle and position has been adjusted to allow for a greater range of articulation at a lifted ride height and, in turn, an increased ball joint service life Provides greater on and off road vehicle stability Improves positive steering feedback Improves braking efficiency (decreases stopping distance) Decreases body roll Increased strength and durability Lifetime warranty on the hard parts of the arms, 12mo warranty on the ball joint and DDBs About Synergy MFG Dual Durometer Bushings: Feature a maintenance-free, grease-less design. Outer "soft" durometer acts as a bushing cushion and flex material that reduces road vibration harshness. Inner "hard" durometer lining acts as the bearing surface to allow free floating inner sleeve to rotate; making DDBs a true "zero bind" bushing. Internal bushing ring separates inner and outer materials to prevent inner sleeve gaping at extreme flex. NOTE: Some customers have experienced fitment issues using PPUCAs with select ICON coilover shocks featuring a remote reservoir. Click here to learn more about remedying the issue.
