This thin polished Polyhedroid Agate specimen shows an outer crystal ring filled with cool white agate banding. Faintly UV reactive. Dimensions: 5.7cm x 1.3cm (3.9cm deep) Weight: 0.7oz Polyhedroid Agates were found in Paraiba, Brazil, but are now unavailable. They are a unique formation of agate, featuring naturally flat surfaces at a variety of different angles. They are believed to have formed in the negative spaces between large crystal blades of calcite or aragonite, and can occasionally feature multiple "chambers" where those blades eroded and adjacent agates fused together.
