This polished Polyhedroid Agate specimen features alternating bands of crystal and agate, in translucent and milky white with black dendrites visible on the surface and along the agate banding. 6cm x 3.6cm polished surface, 4.5cm deep 4.5oz Polyhedroid Agates were found in Paraiba, Brazil, but are now unavailable. They are a pseudomorphic formation of agate, believed to have formed in the negative space between large crystals of calcite or aragonite. They uniquely feature naturally flat surfaces in a variety of angles.
