This polished Polyhedroid Agate specimen features alternating bands of quartz and banded agate in shades of light blue and grey, black, and translucent yellow, which opens to a vug in the center. 6.1cm x 5.2cm polished surface, 5cm deep 6.7oz Polyhedroid Agates were found in Paraiba, Brazil, but are now unavailable. They are a pseudomorphic formation of agate, believed to have formed in the negative space between large crystals of calcite or aragonite. They uniquely feature naturally flat surfaces in a variety of angles.
