Pokemon: Choose a Starter Poster

Close your eyes, and let’s take a journey: It’s 1998. You have a Gameboy — like the big, gray original one! — and Pokémon Red and Blue have just been released. You take the name Red or Ash, and are eager to set out on your quest to become the Ultimate Pokémon Master — but wait! Before you can venture out into the tall grass, you need to choose your starter from Professor Oak. Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle. You can only pick one, and they are all so awesome! And no matter which one you pick, Blue or Gary or Asshole (whatever you’ve chosen to name your rival) will pick the type you’re weak against. Now open your eyes, because Pokémon Go has just been released almost two decades later, and once again you are faced with the hardest decision you will ever have to make: choosing a starter.
