PN7016 = Angled Planisher 1/8'' Chasing Tool by Saign Charlestein

Angled Planisher Chasing Tool 1/8" by Saign Charlestein A beautifully finished chasing tool. Made from A-1 tool steel and kiln heat treated to a hardness of 60 hRc, it is then precisely polished and shipped with a coating of wax to protect the surface from the elements. The result is arguably one of the most beautiful tools you will purchase. The angled planisher is great for creating hard edges, vertical walls, undercuts, and planishing angles on your chasing and repousse piece. It can also be used to spread lines into a "V" shape in effect hiding the line and creating a smooth transition between elements. A very useful tool. Each tool is 1/8" in diameter and 4-3/8" long. The length will not only accommodate larger hands, but can make the tools more versatile on larger work pieces. The 1/8" tools are Saign's "XS" size. They are for the finest detail great for jewelry, but can be useful for any artist doing chasing and repousse. Note: Tools can be slightly altered by the user if to meet personal preference.
