PN7006 = Square Embosser 1/8'' Chasing Tool by Saign Charlestein

Square Embosser Chasing Tool 1/8" by Saign Charlestein A beautifully finished chasing tool. Made from A-1 tool steel and kiln heat treated to a hardness of 60 hRc, it is then precisely polished and shipped with a coating of wax to protect the surface from the elements. The result is arguably one of the most beautiful tools you will purchase. The square embosser has a shallow crown and will leave square depressions in your chasing and repousse piece. It has the largest surface area of any tool in the master set making it great for pushing large areas, and is very useful at planishing concave surfaces as well. Each tool is 1/8" in diameter and 4-3/8" long. The length will not only accommodate larger hands, but can make the tools more versatile on larger work pieces. The 1/8" tools are Saign's "XS" size. They are for the finest detail great for jewelry, but can be useful for any artist doing chasing and repousse. Note: Tools can be slightly altered by the user if to meet personal preference.
