Oneohtrix Point Never - Again - Orange Vinyl - LP

In the world of experimental electronic music, few figures are as enigmatic and exhilarating as Oneohtrix Point Never, the creative persona of Daniel Lopatin. Born in the vibrant borough of Brooklyn, New York, Lopatin's musical journey began in the intimate confines of his childhood home, where his father, a Russian immigrant with a passion for synthesizers, exposed him to a world of sound possibilities. Lopatin's early life was a tapestry of diverse musical influences, from the synthesized symphonies of Jean-Michel Jarre to the ambient landscapes composed by Brian Eno. These formative experiences laid the groundwork for a career defined by innovation and exploration. With a penchant for blending genres and a fearless approach to sound manipulation, Lopatin has carved out a niche that defies convention. His alter ego, Oneohtrix Point Never, surfaced in the late 2000s, quickly garnering acclaim for its avant-garde approach to electronic music. With each album, Lopatin has pushed the boundaries of what music can be, weaving narratives that challenge and captivate the listener. "Again," the latest offering from Oneohtrix Point Never, released on September 29, 2023, is a testament to Lopatin's relentless creativity and sonic bravery.
