The Bible says you can know with absolute confidence. 1 John 5:13 says, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God that ye may KNOW that ye have ETERNAL LIFE.” You can know that you have eternal life if you: 1. Realize That You Are a Sinner. The Bible says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 2. Realize That Because of Sin, Each of Us Deserves God’s Punishment in Hell. The Bible says, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23 3. Realize That God Loved Us So Much That He Sent Jesus Christ to Die For Our Sins. The Bible says, “While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” 4. Realize that Faith in Jesus Christ is the Only Way to Heaven. The Bible says in John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” ETERNAL LIFE IS A GIFT! The Bible says, “The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23b 5. Receive Christ as Your Substitute For Sin & Hell by Simply Asking Him to Save You. The Bible says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.” Romans 10:13 You can ask God to save you with similar words: “Lord, I know I am a sinner, that my sin will send me to hell. I know I can obtain heaven no other way but through Jesus Christ. I believe that He died for my sins and that He rose again. I now ask Him to be my Saviour. Lord, thank you for saving my soul.” If you’ve trusted Jesus Christ as your Saviour, you’re now a child of God! Grow as a Christian by reading the Bible & by praying on a daily basis. Meeting with other believers of like faith on a regular basis will also help further your walk with God. Come worship the Lord & learn the word of God with us - we’d love to have you join us!
