Morito Yoshi Plywood Clock

Designer Moritoyoshi recognized plywood's warmth, its grain, its quiet unpretentiousness — and let those qualities speak. The face is the wood itself, unstained and unadorned, entirely at ease with what it is. Crisp aluminum hands. A silent sweeping second hand. In continuous production for over twenty years, it has outlasted trends by ignoring them entirely. Plywood sourced from West Virginia, assembled by hand in Japan. Recipient of Japan's Good Design Long Life Award — design that endures because it was conceived to last. Takata Lemnos, Japan. Plywood, glass, aluminum. 12" diameter × 1.9" depth. Batteries included.
