Plus Floating Shelf

A thoughtfully proportioned floating shelf that maximizes utility within a compact footprint—solidly constructed yet visually lightweight, designed to provide essential storage with spatial intelligence. While perfectly scaled as a nightstand for bedside necessities, this versatile piece adapts to any area requiring efficient organization: beside a reading chair, in an entryway, or as display storage throughout your home. The design centers on material quality and precise engineering. Shelves milled from 1-1/4 inch thick solid maple or rift-sawn white oak provide substantial support while maintaining clean lines. The signature plus-shaped wall bracket, available in four powder-coated finishes, creates a deliberate color accent that punctuates the wall plane—transforming functional hardware into a considered design element. The floating mounting system eliminates visual weight while maximizing floor space, making it ideal for compact bedrooms or areas where clean sight lines matter. Whether holding bedside essentials or displaying curated objects, the shelf's generous thickness and quality construction ensure it performs as well as it looks. 1-1/4" thick solid maple or rift-sawn white oak construction 14" wide × 12" deep Plus-shaped powder-coated aluminum wall bracket in four color options Accommodates basic tool installation Handcrafted in New York Prices include shipping within the continental US Brooklyn designer Steven Gertner merges his grandparents' hardware shop legacy with Harvard Graduate School of Design training, creating contemporary storage solutions where craft precision meets spatial intelligence.
