PLC POWER SUPPLY ADAPTER CABLE

Jaltest PLC Power Supply Adapter Cable (JDC40AM2) The JDC40AM2 is a genuine Cojali Jaltest PLC Power Supply Adapter Cable — the cable that makes standalone trailer ABS diagnostics possible without needing the tractor present. If your shop services trailers, this is an important piece of the puzzle. The Jaltest PLC trailer adapter (JDC112A) handles the diagnostic connection to trailer ABS systems; the JDC40AM2 is what powers that adapter when there is no tractor plugged in to provide power. That means you can pull a trailer into your bay, hook it up, and run a full ABS diagnostic — brake modulator tests, wheel speed sensor checks, height sensor calibrations — without hunting down a tractor to supply power. What This Cable Does The JDC40AM2 supplies external power to the Jaltest PLC trailer adapter (JDC112A), enabling diagnosis of trailer ABS systems independently of a tractor power source. It is a genuine Cojali component designed for the Jaltest CV and trailer diagnostic workflow. Primary Function: Powers the Jaltest PLC trailer adapter (JDC112A) for standalone trailer ABS diagnostics Key Capability: Allows trailer ABS diagnosis without a tractor connected — work the trailer independently Cable Length: 4.8 cm (adapter-style cable, not a long run cable) Compatible Link Versions: Jaltest Link V8.1 and V9 Genuine Cojali Part: OEM manufactured accessory — designed specifically for the Jaltest system Part Number: JDC40AM2 MSRP: $110.00 (2025 Cojali USA Pricelist) Used With: JDC112A (Deutsch 9-pin PLC Adapter for Trailer, sold separately at $360) Trailer ABS Diagnostic Workflow The Jaltest trailer diagnostic kit (part number 78901081, $1,595 MSRP) provides multibrand coverage on trailer ECUs including ABS, refrigeration systems, and wheel pressure control. Compatible brands include Bendix, Meritor, Wabco, Dana, Carrier, Thermo King, and Haldex. The JDC112A PLC adapter is the primary trailer connection cable; the JDC40AM2 is its power supply companion for tractor-free operation. Dealer-level trailer functions include ABS modulator tests, wheel speed sensor performance checks, calibration of height sensors, ECM copies, and live data monitoring. Who Needs This Cable Fleet shops, trailer repair facilities, and full-service truck and trailer operations that run the Jaltest system. If you ever need to diagnose a trailer that comes in without a tractor — or if you want to dedicate a bay to trailer-only work — the JDC40AM2 is what makes that possible. Without it, you either need a tractor physically connected to power the PLC adapter, or you skip the diagnostic altogether. Why Buy From OEM Diagnostic Tools?
