Platypus QuickDraw Microfilter System 2L

Building upon the original compact, fast and versatile performance of its 1L sibling, the QuickDraw 2L Filter System adds potential with a higher volume dirty reservoir and more ways to customize your system with compatible vessels. The 2L dirty reservoir is light and compact and will hold up to the rugged demands of a months-long thru-hike. Its wide-mouth opening and fill handle keep your hands dry and allow you to quickly fill it so you can keep moving. Like its predecessor, the dirty side I/O (inner/outer) threads attach to the QuickDraw reservoir as well as to standard narrow-mouth bottles like smartwater® and other Platy bottles. On the clean side, select between the DrinkCap for drinking and pouring and the ConnectCap™ that screws onto narrow-mouth bottles and has a hose attachment point. The short hose is fitted with a quick connector that pairs with any hydration reservoir with a quick disconnect, allowing you to quickly squeeze your water directly into your reservoir without taking it out of your pack. Two cleaning methods—shake-to-clean and backflushing—keep the filter flowing fast throughout your trip, while the Integrity Check process allows you to ensure it’s still safely filtering water. The QuickDraw 2L Filter system is the ultimate squeeze filter for pushing further and deeper in the backcountry. Fast and easy ultralight squeeze filter with more water capacity and multi-vessel compatibility.  Premium 2L Reservoir: Proprietary tri-layer film dirty reservoir has an easy-fill wide-mouth opening, a fill handle, and is super durable and packable—plus it’s guaranteed plastic-taste-free. Combine & Customize: I/O threads, the ConnectCap™ and quick connector-fitted short hose let you dial in your custom leak-free system using the clean and dirty vessels you prefer, like smartwater® bottles, Platy bottles, and quick disconnect-fitted hydration reservoirs. Ultralight: At just 5.7 oz (161 g), it keeps things ultralight with the added versatility of higher water capacity. Fast Flowing: Hollow fibers filter 3 liters per minute with squeeze pressure and 1.75 liters per minute in a gravity setup. Easy Cleaning: Easily shake-to-clean the system or backflush it to keep the water flowing fast throughout your trip. Safe & Effective: Each filter is individually tested to ensure it meets all EPA & NSF guidelines for the removal of 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.9% of protozoa.* Integrity Test: Unlike other squeeze filters, easily determine if your filter has been compromised and is unsafe to use in the event of a fall or freezing. Compatible Vessels: QuickDraw reservoirs, smartwater bottles and other narrow-mouth 28mm bottles, Platy 2.0L, Platy SoftBottle™, Platy Water Tank, quick disconnect-fitted hydration reservoirs like the Big Zip™ EVO. Comes with QuickDraw Filter, 2L QuickDraw dirty reservoir with cap, dirty-side cap, ConnectCap with cover, backflush washer, short hose with quick connector, shutoff clamp. *Includes Giardia, Cryptosporidium, E. coli, Salmonella and Cholera. Combine and Customize PREMIUM RESERVOIR Proprietary tri-layer construction technique is guaranteed free of plastic taste and delivers expedition-worthy durability.   FAST & SAFE Hollow fibers filter 1.75L/minute in a gravity setup, 3L/minute with squeeze pressure, and meet the rigorous P231 filtration test protocol.   2 CLEANING METHODS Shake-to-clean and tool-free backflush methods effectively maintain fast flow rates throughout a trip and into the next one.   INTEGRITY CHECK A simple integrity check, that can be easily performed on-trail, adds backcountry safety by allowing users to know if their filter has been compromised from being dropped or frozen.
