Platinum Illusion - Gateway 178.5g

| Home | Gateway | Illusion | Color: Yellow/Copper       speed: 12 glide: 5 turn: -0.5 fade: 2.5 The Illusion from Gateway is faster than both the Spirit and the Speed Demon but less stable than either of them. This disc will fly forward very fast and hyzer back a bit at the end of its flight. It's very easy to throw; it can be thrown at 70% power and will amaze with how far it can fly on so little effort. This disc is great for sidearms, tomahawks, and any distance throws. Diameter 21.4cm Height 1.5cm Rim Depth 1.1cm Inside Rim Diameter 17.2cm Max Weight 177.6gr Dominess: 2 Platinum The Platinum blend is made with different ratios of TPU (Thermoplastic Urethane) and a co-polyester TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer). This combo produces a durable disc that is a bit more grippy on the surface than pure TPU. Platinum discs are always solid in color and are slightly less stable than Diamond and more over stable than Suregrip. Gateway As their name implies Gateway is based in St. Louis and has been active in the disc golf community since 1994. When they're not busy help design disc golf courses (the current count is over 90!) they have created a special line of discs including their popular putter the Wizard. They were the first to develop wide-winged drivers to battle wicked headwinds and currently have over 32 PDGA-approved models available in three plastic blends: Diamond, Platinum and Sure Grip. They've recently started working with hemp polymers which is sure to attract a, uh... um... new market of players. | Home | Gateway | Illusion |
