Italian Capodimonte Porcelain Charger with Figural Border & Heraldic Eagle, Circa 1950–1970   A richly decorated Italian Capodimonte porcelain charger featuring an elaborate raised figural border of classical scenes with cherubs and mythological style figures in high relief.   The center is adorned with a bold heraldic shield depicting a crowned eagle, surrounded by delicate floral decoration and extensive hand applied gilt work. The sculptural rim and vibrant enamel colors give the piece incredible depth and presence.   Marked with the crowned N to the reverse, denoting Capodimonte production from Naples.  Measures approximately 8.5 inches in diameter    A statement piece that reads almost like a story in porcelain — highly decorative and striking on display.
