The grafting tip features a small, flexible plastic tab that easily slides beneath the larva. When the plunger is pressed, the tab helps release the larva smoothly. The bamboo pusher end offers a natural, lightweight feel and is favored by many beekeepers for its gentle handling. The flexible plastic tip can also be adjusted to suit the beekeeper’s needs, making the tool adaptable for different grafting styles. During use, the plunger mechanism pushes the bamboo end forward, helping guide the larva off the tip and into the waiting queen cup with minimal disturbance.
