FAQs Can I use my solar eclipse glasses with binoculars or telescopes? No, solar eclipse glasses are only designed to be used with eyes, not magnification devices or cameras. You can use these clip-on eclipse glasses with prescription glasses, but if you wish to view the eclipse through anything else, you’ll need solar filters. How can I be certain that my eclipse glasses are safe to use? Unfortunately, the market has been flooded with untested and counterfeit eclipse glasses. In order to avoid them, you must purchase your eye protection from a reputable eclipse store. When you get eclipse glasses from Rainbow Symphony, there’s zero risk. Like all of our solar products, these glasses are the result of decades of work—we’ve been making the safest solar products since the 1990s, and we’ve worked closely with the organizations that set the safety standards that exist today. Can I remove my clip-on eclipse glasses during the eclipse? You can only remove them during the full totality phase, which is when 100% of the sun is blocked by the moon and no light whatsoever is showing. Even the tiniest amount of sunlight can be extremely harmful when viewed with the naked eye.  Please check our Eclipse Safety Guide for more information about using your eclipse glasses properly.
