plant intelligence 1

from a Spring 2025 body of work, 'plant intelligence 1' is a dimensional, tactile work composed of wool, organic raffia, and reclaimed yarn. the work was inspired by the artist's ongoing commune with nature reveling in the beauty and workings quietly happening around us at all time. this work melds together abstract references to biological function that join all living things. deeper appreciation for the wisdom of plants was furthered by reading zoe schlanger's 'the light Eaters: how the unseen world of plant intelligence offers a new understanding of life on earth.'   the work is approximately 24" x 36" x 1.5" wrapped around and mounted to a wood frame. **actual shipping charge (if necessary) will be calculated and adjusted as needed.**
