PL4170 = Xuron Flush Micro Cutting Shear

Xuron: The Brand Some companies make pliers. Xuron makes people wonder why they ever used anything else. Proudly made in Maine, USA, Xuron built its reputation on an ingenious bypass cutting design that works more like a pair of scissors than a pair of side cutters. The result is less effort, cleaner cuts, and tools that just feel right in your hand. Their Micro-Shear® cutters have been a favorite of jewelers, electronics technicians, and model makers for decades because they do one job exceptionally well, and they keep doing it. About the 170-II Flush Micro Cutting Shear If you've ever cut wire with cheap cutters and been rewarded with a sharp little spike that immediately stabs your finger, these are your redemption arc. The Xuron 170-II uses the patented Micro-Shear® bypass cutting action to slice through soft wire instead of crushing it, leaving a remarkably clean flush cut that needs less cleanup. They're perfect for trimming sterling, copper, brass, French wire, head pins, eye pins, and other soft jewelry wire. Just remember: these are precision cutters, not bolt cutters. Feed them soft wire and they'll reward you with years of smooth, effortless cuts. Feed them hardened memory wire or steel cable and they'll respond with disappointment.
