Pixies - Bossanova (40th Anniversary Edition CD) [Preorder]

Pixies' third studio album, originally released on August 13, 1990 on 4AD Records — the follow-up to Doolittle and a pivotal record in the band's catalog. Recorded at Triclops Sound Studios in Atlanta, GA with producer Gil Norton, Bossanova leaned into surf rock, sci-fi imagery, and space-age Americana, introducing a more subdued, hypnotic sound that would influence the shoegaze and alternative rock movements throughout the decade. This new half-speed master is part of the band's 40th anniversary celebrations.
